What it is:
- Mulberry Power" mulberry red wine is made of 100% ripe and plump Dashi fresh mulberries. It's the product of a 5-year joint research initiative of Xihua University, Southwest University, University of Jinan, Sichuan Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute, and Chongqing Wanyan Research Institute.
- It fully integrates the craft from ancient books and medical classics with modern biotechnology, and is patented as a national invention.
Why it's unique:
- This is a red wine we make by fermenting mulberries.
- The only raw material that is used in this product is fresh mulberries picked before 7:00 a.m. from the sunny hillside of the Qinba Mountains at an elevation of over 500 meters. They are then transported back to the factory via refrigerated trucks and squeezed for juice within 2 hours.
- This product is the result of a 5-year joint research initiative of Xihua University, Southwest University, University of Jinan, Sichuan Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute, and Chongqing Wanyan Research Institute.
- We use wild yeasts cultivated internally as well as rare yeasts from Germany and other cold-climate countries.
- Materials are fermented in our 2,000-ton freezer at 12-15℃ for 9 months.
- After the preliminary fermentation, it will be stored at a constant temperature of 20-25℃ to preserve the most nutrients of the mulberries as possible.
- No alcohol, colorings, preservatives, sweeteners, flavors, or chemical compounds are added during the whole brewing process.
- This product has obtained three national patents and has won honorary titles such as “Distinguished Local Tourism Product”.
- The wine has a rich, fruity, smooth, and pure taste.
